Collective accommodation establishments of the Czech Republic 2016 – 2025 Q

In the second quarter of 2025, a total of 6.32 million arrivals and 15.02 million overnight stays were recorded in collective accommodation establishments in Czechia. The average length of stay reached 3.38 days. The highest number of visitors and overnight stays was recorded in the Capital Prague, followed by the South Moravian and South Bohemian Region. In terms of overnight stays, Prague was followed by the Karlovy Vary and South Moravian Region.

From the perspective of foreign guests, visitors from Germany, Slovakia, and Poland dominated, with significant numbers also coming from the United States, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and Austria. The data show that foreign tourists accounted for 46.66 % of all arrivals, while domestic visitors represented the majority with a share of 53.34 %.

Regional differences in the average length of stay indicate a diverse structure of the tourism offer – while in the Karlovy Vary Region guests stayed an average of 4.67 days, in the South Moravian Region 2.88 days, and in Prague 3.27 days.
